The Central Police Canteen system provides consumer goods of a wide range and variety to personnel of the force and their families. These goods are provided at minimum rates at a number of locations across the country. The Central Police Canteen system initiated as a welfare measure in the year 2007 has now grown into a popular and successful organization.
It serves retired personnel of the CAPFs, State police forces and their families and provides them quality goods at discounted rates
As the Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee (CAC), it gives me immense pleasure and pride that Central Office, CPC has launched its website for increasing efficiency and transparency on its working. This will also facilitate easy access to information about Central Police Canteen down to the junior most ranks and their families in all the CAPFs, various departments of Ministry of Home Affairs and State Police Forces. The beneficiaries of CPC will be made aware of the list of companies and products listed / available with the CPC. It would include various product groups such as Toiletries, Cosmetics, Kitchen ware, Electricals, appliances, Sports goods, Luggage, Hosiery, watches, packaged food, automobiles etc. and also list their prices. It will display locations of all the 119 Master Canteens and 1625 Subsidiary Canteens of Central Police Canteen system all over the country.
The Central Purchase Committee has been successful in negotiating with the firms to provide maximum rebate on their quality products due to which CPC beneficiaries now have vast choice of having quality products on considerably low cost than the market rates.
I extend my best wishes to all officers and men of all the CAPFs who are contributing towards the successful operations of Central Police Canteen system and particularly to the team of officers and staff attached with Central Office, CPC / MHA.
